Arenal is home to over 400 bird species. Depending on the season, you may spot toucans, parrots, tanagers, trogons, hummingbirds, motmots, and even the elusive Keel-billed Toucan.
If you have your own binoculars, bring them along. However, the guide also provides professional binoculars and spotting scopes to ensure everyone enjoys clear views of the birds.
